Ground Crew / Work Experience

We are also looking for someone to join the team as a part time assistant to our operations. The ideal applicant would be a PPL(H) or recently qualified CPL(H) holder who is interested in pursuing aviation as a career. They would ideally also be over 18 and hold a full driving licence.

Duties would include assisting the pilots and passengers both on the airfield and at off-site events, re-fuelling, cleaning aircraft, briefing passengers etc. throughout the summer.

Non-licence holders will also be considered as long as the applicant has a keen interest in helicopter operations and wishes to pursue it as a career. No specific experience is required but the most important attributes are a passion for aviation, a strong desire to learn and have a good application of logical ‘common sense’.

This post is also likely to include positioning flights to and from events and if the applicant is a licence holder then this could be good hour-building opportunity.

This position will allow the successful applicant to gain operational experience in a commercial helicopter environment, as well as flight experiences as a passenger and possibly pilot.
